The contents of a woman’s handbag can reveal a lot about her character but never underestimate a woman who rolls with a back pack cause she’s bound to be about her business!

RoxXxan needs no re-introduction as there is no doubt the fierce female MC hailing from the second largest city in the UK (for those who failed GCSE Geography GCSE-Birmingham), is etched into your memory.

Regularly swinging hooks in the boxing ring for fun, she has proved to be a serious contender with her knock out lyrics on tracks like ‘Boxing Ting’ and ‘Heavyweight’ which featured on the Shank soundtrack.

Floating like a butterfly on the live circuit, her fusion of dubstep, hip-hop and grime lyrics stung as she sparred alongside respected MCs like P Money, on sets with Goldie, Skream, Benga and Caspa.

With the same passion she had for music when she started her career back in 2004, RoxXxan is now equipped with experience and wisdom which is set to jolt her into a frontrunner position as she returns armed with a backpack full of fresh content.

Music is her therapy and performing is her hulk and like her biggest music inspirations who vary from Bob Marley to the Spice Girls and Ms Dynamite, she is here to stand for something and own it.

Understandably championed by the likes of former Radio 1 Dj Zane Lowe, DJ Target (1Xtra), Swerve (Kiss) and MistaJam (Radio1/1Xtra) RoxXxan’s honest, spicey and explosive lyrics as demonstrated on Charlie Sloth’s Fire In Booth have won over the ears of some of the most hardened MCs.

Describing herself she says ‘I’m a female boss,  I don’t do it like a dude, I do it like me’ It’s no surprise that she’s worked with some of the hottest producers including Yogi, TMS, Bless Beats, Wiley, Sunny, Donaeo and Riton and her partnership with former Rinse FM DJ Rossi B confirms that she rocks steady.

Her mixtape @RotripleX and features on The streets final mixtape Cyberspace&Reds made her a favourite with the mandem however the ladies showed her real love too as she featured on Mikey J female Allstars ROCK THE MIC alongside Amplify Dot, Baby Blue, Lioness, Mz Bratt and Lady Leshurr in 2012.

With a profound history behind her and a short time out to evolve, RoxXxan has an even greater future ahead as she is about to drop more than just music but a clothing line too. All great leaders have great supporters and she’s even offering opportunities for you to be part of the movement too

And just like her favourite colours yellow and green, which happen to be the colour of her old school uniform, RoxXxan is about to re-capture our attention and show us just how much she has grown.
